Nice.

But at least with the release of Black Books Series 1 we can probably expect them soon.

I'm not at all familiar with Jack of All Trades, but in light of what you listed it with perhaps I should be.

Jack of All Trades was the Bruce Campbell action/adventure show from 2000. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0220906/

I've been waiting for that forever.

Hey guys, Weird Science has been out on DVD for years now. Originally on a bare bones Image released disc, and then Universal itself re-released it, twice.

First, as part of the HIGH SCHOOL REUNION collection - along with Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, which you could buy in a 3 pack box set, or seperately. And more recently, as the re-released and re-titled BRAT PACK COLLECTION. There's also 3 O'Clock High, which carries the "HSR" title, but was not included in the box set, as it was not directed by John Hughes, and doesn't include much of the same cast.

Weird Science

High School Reunion Collection

Brat Pack Collection

The sequel to the original Mad Max was officially entitled:The Road Warrior not Mad Max 2, which is currently released on DVD, along with Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome as well from Warner Brother Studios.

There's an awful lot of The African Queen requests.

Great film of course, and it's got a great UK DVD release here

Why wait?

Official with whom? It was released worldwide as Mad Max 2. It was renamed by its North American distributor to make it sound 'better'.

The first film was also made 'better' for US audiences by over-dubbing Mel Gibson with an American voice (although he is American of course, he's got an Australian accent having lived their since childhood).

I think all the latest versions of Mad Max have the correct Gibson voice and are uncut. Thank gawd.

Yes, Road Warrior is the North American name only. I would like a non-dubbed versions of Mad Max 2 also. I *thought* there was a R4 release that was not dubbed, but I think it went OOP. It's on my permanent Wish List.
