Derailed ----> 3/21/06 (rumored released)

Thedigitalbits.com is reporting in their Rumor Mill that this Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston thriller is coming to DVd on March 21st.

1/12/06

We've gotten some more new street date information from our industry sources for some major early '06 titles:

Universal is planning to release Peter Jackson's King Kong on 3/28.

New Line has Just Friends scheduled for March 7.

Paramount has tentatively slated Yours Mine & Ours for February 28.

Miramax's Derailed is currently due on 3/21.

Finally, we're hearing Disney's The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is tentatively due in early April.

Keep in mind, all of these dates are unofficial until the studio makes their actual public announcements.

Stay tuned...

I know I shouldn't get excited, but that DVD Cover that's coming soon says "Unrated." I'm sure it will be an extra 4.8 seconds, but I think I'll take that chance on the possibility of a little more Jennifer Aniston.

It's all downhill from there... this was one of my least favorite films of the year.

looks (from the covers) like the rza and xzibit might get more screen time in the unrated version

I wanted to like this movie. The premise sounded intriguing but then I found myself asking a few questions after the story got going. And well, all those questions I was asking myself is where it ended up going. I hate being able to figure movies out that are supposed to be full of surprises and twists, blah blah blah.

The below is completely unrelated to DERAILED, I just want to comment.

And speaking of twists in plots. I hope one day M Night will make a film where he doesn't write himself into a corner and make a boring film. It's evident that he has talent. But it seems the damned twists screw everything up.

ok, thanx for your constructive input on not being in favor of the movie and m.night, but it doesnt answer my question whatsoever at all!
i just love it when an old topic is dug out due to a specific technical question and suddenly people feel the urge to post completely unnecessary comments on the film itself.
