Note to Dsypha...

You appear to be new, so I'll be easy on you. On this forum, you're more likely to get helpful responses when you type in proper English, as opposed to whatever slanguage you're posting in. No one wants to DECIPHER a post to find the meaning.

Please...no more 'dem'. Just type THEM. It's pretty easy.

Is there a character on the show who talks that way?

These dvds have quite the bizarre structure. If you take a look at them in some sort of reauthoring program, it will claim that there is 10+gb of data on there. They rely very heavily on seamless branching to allow for episodes to be viewed in there entirety or to view sketches by character. It's so bad that even the opening title sequences might be branched.

Perhaps your player has difficulties with the scope of the branching ...

I guess you are the only one who doesnt understand my "slanguage". I am a member of more than 50 forums and I've always used this "slanguage" to post in those forums and I always get proper responses. Its quite unfortunate you dont have the ability to understand them. I guess all your family and friends speak in "proper" english ONLY. and I wonder how you were able to follow the slanguage used in Little Britain ??!! Do you even chat?? And I guess you use proper english even while chatting !

No, I don't chat. And when I do communicate with friends on instant messengers, yes, I do type proper English. I hate it when people use slang online...it makes them look...dumb.

Well, real slang's not so bad, but that stuff sounds like Jar Jar Binks or Br'er Rabbit.

That's all well and good. However, this is not a chat room, it's a discussion forum, where we use proper English.

Solutions? Try the disks in another player (as opposed to the computer), exchange them for another set to see if the particular set is at fault, etc. If you have the same issue on another player, it may be the set. If the only device having problems is your DVD drive in your computer, it's the drive.

That said, proper English is respected here. However, the lack of it in this thread has lead to an extremely amusing exchange. The gem below has had me chuckling for several minutes now. LOL
