Just got back from my parents with a box full of dvds. Between my wife and I, we really racked up a good amount of them. I asked for almost exclusively Criterions, and forwarded my mother my DDD wishlist during the sale so she could maximize her spending. The only big thing I got other than DVDs was Guitar Hero a couple of weeks ago as an early present. Criterion discs are bolded.

My wife got:
The Exorcism of Emily Rose (from me)
Friends, Season 10 (from my parents)
Christmas with the Kranks (from my parents)

I got:
King Kong Production Diaries
Die Hard, The Ultimate Collection
The Sword of Doom
A Woman Is a Woman
The Leopard
The Killers
Rebel Samurai (Sixties Swordplay Classics)
Mona Lisa
The Flowers of St. Francis
The Samurai Trilogy
Harakiri
The River
Gate of Flesh
Naked
L'Eclisse
Heaven Can Wait
Smiles of a Summer Night
The Pornographers
Ali: Fear Eats the Soul
Trouble in Paradise
Masculin Feminin
Stray Dog
Charade
The Lower Depths
Le Corbeau
Schizopolis
Youth of the Beast
Fiend Without a Face
Richard III

King Kong Collector's Edition. I saw the original after I saw the remake twice. Now I can appreciate it (the remake) so much more.

I also got myself a lot of DVDs during the DDD sale.

The only DVDs I got were Touch Of Evil and Strangers On A Train 2 Disc. But I got a 60Gb iPod video so lack of DVD is perfectly fine.

No DVDs for me, just cologne, but i'm grateful. God has blessed me so much with material, financial, spiritual gifts, and good health all of my life. The greatest gift in the world to me, is that I lived to see another Christmas this year, and hope to see many more.

Nope. I got a gift certificate to Ultimate Electronics, but that's not going to DVD's. In fact, I doubt any of my money from this year is going to DVD's.

Maybe I don't belong on a DVD forum.
