Awesome.

The feature-length documentary interests me. I hope it's as good as the documentary on the Hedwig and the Angry Inch DVD.

This actually does sound like a nice set of features. In this day and age, it's good to see a feature-length making of as opposed to fifteen four-minute featurettes.

I hate the trend of not including the trailers for the film you bought on the dvd release. If the trailer(s) are not included on this release. That would mean I'd have to purchase Into The Blue to see the trailer(my brother rented that,and I loved the trailer and was the first time seeing it).

I am very glad this is coming out so soon! *ABOVE* Stealth DVD also has the Rent Trailor, and I was very happy because I too wanted the trailor. I can not believe some of the comments on the board where the cover art is posted! Some believe the transfer to the screen sucked... That could not be further from the truth! And if you dont like musicals, I took a lot of people to see this movie in theatres and all of them enjoyed it... It is a great movie with a great story! So go rent Rent when it comes out...

"deleted scenes and musical performances"

what exactly does THAT mean, obviousily deleted scenes, but does that also infer that some musical numbers were shot, but ultimately deleted for the theatrical cut - oooohh I can't wait to see those scenes.

Those weren't recorded -nor- shot for the movie.

There will be an extended version of "Goodbye Love" on the DVD, as well as "Halloween." That's confirmed.

There were rumors that they recorded and shot "Contact" for the film (involving just Mimi and Roger, no Angel or Collins), but during press interviews, Chris Columbus only mentioned the former two would be on the DVD.

ok, the double packs of Rent/Godspell and Rent/Tommy are showing up on Amazon now.......but there are 4 different versions of each......(2 widescreen and 2 fullscreen)........but I don't understand what the other difference is (Sbs vs. Btb)

does anyone know what this means?

for example for the Rent(widescreen)/Tommy 2 packs, there are these two different versions:
Rent & Tommy (2pc) (Ws Sbs)

Rent & Tommy (2pc) (Ws Btb)

oops, nevermind.
my brain just turned back on and I thought of the answer to my own question.

Sbs = side by side.

Btb = back to back.

It's just a difference in how they are shrink wrapped.
