Closing of Media Play

I dont know how many of you have been to a Media Play. It is another company that is owned by Suncoast and Sam Goody, but reasonably priced is closing its doors for all stores. No reason was given to the employees, at least the low end ones that were actually one the floor.

Anyone else irritated by this?

Not at all. I always found their prices too inflated compared to BB and CC next door. They closed the one by me at least 6 months ago. I thought they would've went out of business much sooner than that.

They closed the one near me about six months ago too...I liked them because they sold DVDs AND books...and always seemed to have the harder-to-find DVDs that Best Buy just didn't carry. They were higher priced, but I liked their frequent-buyers card A LOT more than the Rewards Zone thing that BB offers. I HATE Suncoast (WAY too high-priced!), so I guess I won't be renewing my Replay Rewards membership!
