Yes, soon my animated DCU collection will be on its way to completion. I don't know why but for some reason every animated DCU/WB production has been enjoyable since BTAS came out. The only exception thus far is The Batman but I only gave it one show's chance.

Thats awesome. I wish they would release Justice League at the same time.

Does anyone know if the Superman animated is done now or is there going to be another volume?

Edit: Nevermind, i just saw the Justice League thread.

It's gotten better with the introduction of Barbara Gordon (Batgirl). I personally have enjoyed that show since the beginning and I'm glad it just got picked up for a 4th season. Sure it's nothing like the Timm stuff, but so what...

I'm glad BB and JL are getting season sets in March. It's about time!!! I'll be getting them all as well.

First season of JL is also being released on March 21st, 2005. Check the TVod site.

I believe there should be 1 more S:TAS set in time for the new Superman Returns movie next summer. Maybe we'll get a free movie ticket?

4th season? I didn't realize that its been around that long. I just happened to see it on cartoon network one day. I no longer have cartoon network, so I'll have to see if it is on anything else and dvr it for another shot.

Episode List from: http://www.batbeyond.com/episodes/

Rebirth 1 & 2 (This is the Batman Beyond 'Movie' I believe)
Blackout
Golem
The Winning Edge
Dead Man's Hand
Meltdown
Heroes
Spellbound
Shriek
A Touch of Curare
Disappearing Inque
Ascension

In looking over the list, I believe only three of these episodes aren't on the two releases I own (the movie and the Tech Wars/Disappearing Inque DVD)...hopefully it'll have a low in-store cost for double dippers.

Yeah, I wonder why Beuna Vista isn't breaking out season sets of their Marvel related animated shows? (they do own the rights, if I recall correctly?)

I'm still hoping beyond hope that when X3 comes out they release it.

Hell, they released Fantastic Four (1994) and that series wasn't all that great...

Finally, Batman Beyond. This show was sadly neglected in favor of Justice League, a vastly inferior show; but at least we've got 3 truncated seasons.

I was rather disappointed by how suddenly WB dropped the Batman Beyond premise all together. Not just cancelling the series, but cancelling the comic book series, and any plans for any future projects, including any potential for animated movies. Even the proposed live action version was suddenly dead in the water. I don't think I ever seen WB drop anything so quickly and so abruptly.

Which had more overall episodes-Batman Beyond or Superman TAS.It wouldn't surprise me if Batman Beyond made a comeback-didn't they make a movie after the series was canceled.

They made Return of the Joker, but that's when there was still hope for the live action moive and the comics were still rolling out. It all ended pretty much overnight, WB was done with it. I hope the sets sell phenomenally and it does make a come back.
