The Invaders: A friend of mine burned the entire series on DVD for me. He bought it from some questionable source so the quality was just so-so. But man, the show was great. I had vague memories of it, but watching it now, it really was ahead of its time. Sadly, I doubt if it will be ever released (if shows like Lost In Space can barely sell enough units, where's the hope in seeing something like this?). As a funny sidenote: years ago, when I first moved to LA, my then girlfriend was friends with this incredibly hot Swedish girl. I mean, if you want to think about the stereotype of blonde, LA girl from Sweden, she was it. She had moved to LA to meet Roy Thinnis (spelling?) star of The Invaders because it was still a hugely popular show in Sweden. Ironically, from what I heard, not only did she eventually meet him, but they got married! Why can't that happen to me with some TV starlet that I think is hot?

Back on topic, the rest of my dream list would be

Boris Karloff's THRILLER (with some of the best horror stories ever done on TV)
One Step Beyond (a complete series)
The Rat Patrol (anyone remember that show?)

And
Twin Peaks
On the Air

I have both of these on Laser Disc, but it would be nice to have them on DVD.

I haven't seen listed the one I would like the most to see and that's Disney's Zorro from way back when. A movie was issued at one time by piecing together pieces of the first three or four episodes but I don't think that is on DVD either.

Bet that one ends up on a Treasures set. They used to show it on the Disney Channel late at night just like some of the other live-action ones that have shown up on the Treasures sets.

The Invaders would be a cool rental for me. It's the earliest show I remember watching, and I have dim memories of it still. The way the aliens got zapped made a big impresion on me.

The same thing I say everytime someone starts this topic:

WKRP
L.A. Law
Picket Fences

I'm not holding my breath on WKRP because of the music issues. There seems to be no sign of the DEK shows on DVD. I don't know what could be the hold-up on those or Bochco's L.A. Law.

I'd love a release of John Doe. I never saw the end of the series, but I thought the first half of the series was very good.
