PriceMatched this at Wal-Mart yesterday. I thought the SS dvd was very solid with the good matches and Batista winning the title. The best thing about the SS dvd is the bonus match of the Original SS ppv with Hogan's Team vs Andre's Team. The December to Dismember dvd is without a doubt the worst WWE(ECW) ppv put out on dvd, With a running time of a whopping 2hrs15mins and very slim extras. This was a joke. But anyways very good deal for both dvds nonetheless.

The first disc looks pretty good. The second disc would make a good coaster for a cold beverage.

Come on, now you're insulting coasters! Including anything from the new ECW (that's not CM Punk or maybe Balls Mahoney) insults the old ECW.

BTW, I got The Greatest Wrestling Stars of the 80s and From the Vault: HBK in the 3/$10 deal at GameStop.

I was just browsing on ebay and amazon.com. I can not believe the prices people are asking for some WWE dvd's. Two in particular, Judgment Day 2002 and Vengeance 2002, are outrageous! One guy on ebay is asking $300 for the Judgment Day dvd and the Vengeance one was going anywhere from $25- $60.
A couple of years ago, I was having a hard time tracking those two dvd's down and found them for sale on a Canadian website. I paid less than $30 for the both of them including shipping. Does anyone know why those dvd's are no longer in print? They came out after the WWE name was introduced. In fact, I think Judgment Day was the first PPV they had under the WWE name. I've been wondering that for a while and thought some here might know.

$300 seems pretty steep for either DVD. They both were exclusively available at the WWE Shopzone site in 2002 and they were the only DVDs of this type to be released. I believe they were even clearanced later on at the site.

I got Vengeance 2002 off ebay last year for $15 shipped.
Still Trying to find Judgment Day 2002, Royal Rumble 2000 and 2002 which are really rare also.

What's the difference betweeen it being the Koch Entertainment version or the ones released in the U.S. by WWE? It's the same events with the same extras on both dvd's. Both dvd's have as good a quality audio and video as any other WWE release I've ever bought. And the less than $30 price was including both dvd's and shipping. They weren't $30 a piece. In fact, I believe I paid $15 for Judgment Day and $7 for Vengeance. Everything above that was shipping. I can live with that price.
That they aren't the ones WWE released in the States might make them less collectable, but that really doesn't matter to me. I just wanted the events on dvd to fill those gaps in my collection.
But honestly...why in the hell did WWE decide to not keep those dvd's available? You would think that someone working for the company might notice those going for such a high price and they might decide to release them again. I wish WWE would do the same with all the old In Your House events as well. I know they're releasing all that stuff in the UK, but I don't understand why they don't do the same in the U.S.

Any idea how hard to find the older 'WWF' branded titles are and what they would be worth? I had no idea they were so hard to find, I've got literally just about every WWE/F DVD released and I was debating unloading some of the older stuff I've watched way too much. I might be missing an odd PPV here or there, can't remember off the top of my head, but I've got every WM from 15 on (with original WWF logos) and every Royal Rumble and Summer Slam released on DVD. I guess I should do some research, I never would have guessed they might be in high demand.

Right after the name change in 2002 I was out at a Best Buy and I bought the 2000 Royal Rumble on dvd for 12 or 13 dollars. They also had WM 2000 on dvd, and I almost bought it. A few months later when I found out the old dvd's were being discontinued I was kicking myself in the ass for passing up WM dvd for $20. About a year ago I found it used, but I paid a whopping $40 for it. I spent almost as much on it as I would have if I had bought the 4th volume of the WM Anthology. I just hate the blurred logos though.
I remember in late 2002 and early 2003 I was going to K-Mart and they were selling the old WWF dvd's for $5 a piece on clearance. I stocked up on all the ones I didn't have. I was able to find Summer Slams 2000 and 2001. KOTR, Judgment Day, Unforgiven and No Mercy all from 2001. I also found HHH That Damn Good (3 hour dvd with a bunch of his matches from 2000 and 2001), as well as Backlash 2002.
Anyway...now I kind of wish I had bought a few extras to resell. Oh well, I got them for my own collection, so I'm happy with that.

Worse than a joke. It was a slap in the face to anyone who even remotely liked the old ECW.

Out of curiosity. Did the WWE take out the TNA chants and the "Where's my refund" chants on the December to Dismember dvd?

LOL! *Priceless*

Out of the 4 *main* shows that I watch, this is the order in which like them from Best to Least:

1. Raw

2. TNA

3. Smackdown

4. ECW.... meh what a dog

i wonder if you'd change raw to tna after last nights shitfest known as raw.

Apparently the TNA chant at the ppv broke out after a wrestler performed a mucsle buster type move, and the "Where's my refund" chant happened after the elimination chamber.

I am still waiting (and I won;t get) a STING wcw dvd.
Wow, imagine having a compilation of all those Sting appearances at the end of Nitros, during the Hogan v. Sting fued.
Ashh sweet memories.
The Night Of A thousand Stings.
The Sting coming up under the ring.
The Sting dropping down and pulling upo to safety, a DDPeePee on his harness, when he was surrounded.
The Sting 'voice' at the final; Clash Of Champions.

A guy can dream cant he?

I'd be surprised if WWE didn't put out a Sting dvd sometime in the future. I'd say it would have to be when Sting is no longer a part of TNA. It would have been dirty to do, but can you imagine how bad it would have hurt the release of TNA's Sting dvd had WWE decided to release a Sting dvd with all his WCW stuff on the same day?

I saw that picture at Gerweck.net. I'm just wondering where the store is located and if it is in a lot of the them or just certain ones.

Xage, when you steal someone picture shouldn't you at least give the person credit? I saw the same picture on a wrestling website and I know the person who took the picture..
