PriceMatched this at Wal-Mart yesterday. I thought the SS dvd was very solid with the good matches and Batista winning the title. The best thing about the SS dvd is the bonus match of the Original SS ppv with Hogan's Team vs Andre's Team. The December to Dismember dvd is without a doubt the worst WWE(ECW) ppv put out on dvd, With a running time of a whopping 2hrs15mins and very slim extras. This was a joke. But anyways very good deal for both dvds nonetheless.

I was just browsing on ebay and amazon.com. I can not believe the prices people are asking for some WWE dvd's. Two in particular, Judgment Day 2002 and Vengeance 2002, are outrageous! One guy on ebay is asking $300 for the Judgment Day dvd and the Vengeance one was going anywhere from $25- $60.
A couple of years ago, I was having a hard time tracking those two dvd's down and found them for sale on a Canadian website. I paid less than $30 for the both of them including shipping. Does anyone know why those dvd's are no longer in print? They came out after the WWE name was introduced. In fact, I think Judgment Day was the first PPV they had under the WWE name. I've been wondering that for a while and thought some here might know.

$300 seems pretty steep for either DVD. They both were exclusively available at the WWE Shopzone site in 2002 and they were the only DVDs of this type to be released. I believe they were even clearanced later on at the site.

That they aren't the ones WWE released in the States might make them less collectable, but that really doesn't matter to me. I just wanted the events on dvd to fill those gaps in my collection.
But honestly...why in the hell did WWE decide to not keep those dvd's available? You would think that someone working for the company might notice those going for such a high price and they might decide to release them again. I wish WWE would do the same with all the old In Your House events as well. I know they're releasing all that stuff in the UK, but I don't understand why they don't do the same in the U.S.

I might be missing an odd PPV here or there, can't remember off the top of my head, but I've got every WM from 15 on (with original WWF logos) and every Royal Rumble and Summer Slam released on DVD. I guess I should do some research, I never would have guessed they might be in high demand.
I remember in late 2002 and early 2003 I was going to K-Mart and they were selling the old WWF dvd's for $5 a piece on clearance. I stocked up on all the ones I didn't have. I was able to find Summer Slams 2000 and 2001. KOTR, Judgment Day, Unforgiven and No Mercy all from 2001. I also found HHH That Damn Good (3 hour dvd with a bunch of his matches from 2000 and 2001), as well as Backlash 2002.
Anyway...now I kind of wish I had bought a few extras to resell. Oh well, I got them for my own collection, so I'm happy with that.

Out of the 4 *main* shows that I watch, this is the order in which like them from Best to Least:
1. Raw
2. TNA
3. Smackdown
4. ECW.... meh what a dog

Apparently the TNA chant at the ppv broke out after a wrestler performed a mucsle buster type move, and the "Where's my refund" chant happened after the elimination chamber.

I am still waiting (and I won;t get) a STING wcw dvd.
Wow, imagine having a compilation of all those Sting appearances at the end of Nitros, during the Hogan v. Sting fued.
Ashh sweet memories.
The Night Of A thousand Stings.
The Sting coming up under the ring.
The Sting dropping down and pulling upo to safety, a DDPeePee on his harness, when he was surrounded.
The Sting 'voice' at the final; Clash Of Champions.
A guy can dream cant he?

No. It is where he won the title though.
