DVD Universe's website has the Rumble set pre-order price of $181.24. I hope they break them up into the four separate sets so I don't have to buy a bunch that I already have. I'm really not looking forward to seeing the 99' Rumble with the blurred logo. I have all the others after that one already on dvd. I wonder why they don't release them individually. At an average of 20 bucks a piece, they could make a killing by doing that.

I'm almost 100% sure they won't, since no Rumble has gone over 3 hours, unlike some WrestleManias.

I am on the fence for the Survivor Series set, I honestly never watch the Survior Series, it is really worth it?

Of course it is. How else are you going to see The Royal Family (Jerry Lawler, Sleazy, Queasy and Cheesy) battle Clowns 'R' Us (Doink the Clown, Dink, Pink and Wink) from SS '94???? (thank you wikipedia for help on those names)

I think I'll hold out a while on the Rumble set, and just pick it up used. That's what I did for the WM Anthology and ended up getting the first three sets I wanted for only like $20 each.

I just read that the 2006 Survivor Series dvd will have the main event from the first Survivor Series as one of the extras.

André the Giant, One Man Gang, King Kong Bundy, Butch Reed and Rick Rude (w/Bobby Heenan and Slick) VS. Hulk Hogan, Paul Orndorff, Don Muraco, Ken Patera and Bam Bam Bigelow (w/Oliver Humperdink)

Wait, they've announced a Survivor Series set?

Recent Exclusive Wrestling DVDs are showcased by a certain wrestling dvd collector in this thread from another forum.

Does anyone know if the 2007 Royal Rumble is going to be apart of the Anthology?

It was announced as a 20 show set, which would be (my guess) 1987-2006. So, I would think it's not included, but I could be wrong...

You probably are, since there was no Royal Rumble in 1987.

For some reason I thought the USA network one was 1987. Oh well. That probably means the box set will include 2007...

FYE broke street date for the ECW December to dismember ppv (survivor series '06 as well). The only "extra's" are the lashley v. show rematch and post match interviews w/the chamber competitors.

Does anyone know if they will do a box set for all the PPVs in 2006? I know they did it in 03 and 05, and they skipped 04. It would be lame if they did it every other year.

Seems like there not. I tried to hold off buying ppv dvd's because of that reason, except for the ones I didn't order live. I'm starting to feel like they won't go that route again. I hope they at least offer a box to store the years worth of dvd's.

I saw the Survivor Series & December to Dismember DVDs at FYE on Friday night but they were selling for $24.95 so I didn't pick them up.

I read somewhere that Circuit City was going to be running a special on the ECW and Survivor Series dvd this week where you could get them both for $24.00.

Has anyone tracked down the Heroes Of World Class dvd yet? All the sites I've checked so far have the release date listed as 12/26, but they all say it's on backorder.

www.rohwrestling.com. You should be going to there or highspots.com for all your wrestling needs.

12/29. Which is an odd release date. Make sure you get the 2 disk edition.

They refused to give me the $24 price at CC. The covers were different than the ones in the add. They said that they were different dvds.

That's messed up that CC wouldn't even honor their own ad. Did you ask to speak with a manager?

Wal-Mart tried that one on me when WM 22 came out and I had the coupon that came in the preview promo dvd for See No Evil. The cover that was pictured on the coupon was different from the one that was actually released. I finally spoke to someone who honored the coupon though.

Circuit City was such a mess I didn't want to bother dealing with a manager. I was also buying Jackass 2 and the Descent at the same time. I noticed when I got home that the cashier never charged me for The Descent. Take that CC. Serves them right.

Mine didn't ring up correctly, but all I had to do was mention it and it was fixed.

You should've asked for a manager. Once they realized they only had one version in the system, you would've gotten it.

I went to Circuit City after work and the register automatically took off the difference and rang both up for $24.
