Sequel?

Does anyone have a link about this sequel? What more could they do with it?

Well Mulderxcoltrane, I got this info from the Jennifer Garner fan-demonium online shrine:

------------
"Jennifer Garner is set to reprise her role in the sequel to the smash hit, "13 Going on 30". The tentative working title is "30 Days Has September". In it, Garner's character is suffering from a bout of depression, and says she wishes that she could be old, since the elderly always seem so care-free. She gets her wish when, starting on September 1st, she begins aging at 3 years every day. That means 90 years in 1 month!

At first it's a fun little distraction that cheers her up...but then the dilemma hits her. She'll be thru menopause by the end of the week (No Kids)...She'll be unnatractive to men her age (No husband)... The hijinks kick into high-gear by the end of the month, when the hilarity of kidney stones, arthritis, and memory loss begin to affect her daily life. She has to figure a way out of this mess, all before....30 DAYS HAS SEPTEMBER."
-------------

Sounds fascinating, although I hope they stop after this one. This isn't exactly a film that is crying out for a franchise. Who knows, the right director could make it work.

I guess they're going with the rhyme "30 Days Has September...April, June, and November".

Good stuff, I was waiting for a rerelease of this.

Now if only we can get special editions of Enough and The Net, I'll be in heaven.

The 30 days idea actually doesn't sound too bad. Like a comic The Hunger...

The only possible reason for another edition!
My god that sequel is a horrible idea. Now is she 30 in the beginning? And is her life the same as it was when she became 30 from 13?? Just... my god.

This fun and flirty edition is yet another in a trend of disturbingly lame double dips. It seems to me that special editions are getting a lot less special. Notice the skimpy new extras on Office Space. Rip off.

Bottom line is someone will buy it! Those that produce it will make some money, pay a bill, buy a car, etc. It's called capitalism!

If you don't like it, don't buy it, and move to France. Duh!
It is also capitalism for comsumers to bitch about lame marketing schemes that don't really deliver product. Let's see that fun and naked edition and I'm in!

If you don't like bitching about dopey promotions, I would suggest avoiding forums.

Jeez, three posts, I gotta get out of this thread!

There already is a Net SE. Sony went nuts with re-releasing special editions, i.e. The 6th Day, The Mask of Zorro, etc.

Also, fyi, The Net 2.0 is coming to a video store near you.

So I guess that when the sequel comes out, there will be another SE of this film released.

He probably knew that, as there is also an "SE" of Enough out already as well

I don't get it... Granted I really enjoyed this movie - but nowhere near enough for a double dip...
