House Of Wax (2005) DVD Question?

Wasn't House Of Wax (2005) supposed to be a 2-disc set? I mean all the extras that were announced are still on the disc , but i thought it was going to be a 2-disc? What happened?

There was a 5/6 episode "movie house" miniseries about the making of the film that aired on MTV last summer that was originally suppose to be included... but when it got dropped for legal reasons, the set was changed to 1 disc...
