Bootlegs of "The Wire"???

I've just started looking for both Season boxsets.
I found a seller on Ebay selling both sets, but I'm a little concerened about his description of the packaging.
I quote,
"IN A MORE BASIC OPEN CLOSE SMALLBOX WITH SAME COVER FRONT/BACK,DISCS IN SLIP CASE JOINED SLEEVE PACK, VERY CONVENIENT TO HANDLE.. PLAYS USA DVD PLAYERS "

That just sounds a bit like the "packed in plastic sleeves for your convenience" you often see in listings for cheap and nasty Asian bootlegs. And the "PLAYS USA DVD PLAYERS" bit I really don't like......
On the other hand, the guy's rating is 894 with 99.9% positive feedback, so maybe I'm just being paranoid.

Does anyone think they are/could be bootlegs?
Or could someone who has either or both of the Season sets comment on what he's talking about in regard to the packaging??

its a bootleg.
the only "official" sets come in the packaging that you see in stores.
Its a fantastic show, and should only invest in the real versions.

I agree with Jack...bootleg, and it's a great show.

I thought as much.
What IS the packaging like by the way? Did HBO do anything "different" like they did with Curb your Enthusiasm and Deadwood??

At least the poor English gives you a clue about the fact its a bootleg. I bought Grosse Pointe Blank on eBay. It had a pic of the American packaging, and in bold letters listed "Special Bonus Menu" as one of the features. Apparently the "special bonus" was the fact that the menus were all in Cantonese.
