But seeing as it is a barcode coupon, I doubt most retailers would be configured to have it check for both before it takes $10 off.

If I'm wrong, I'll buy it from you for $7. It's a gift worth giving.

OK, just a quick rant against Best Buy. I dropped in on the way to work (close to running late) to pick up this title with Serenity to get the discount. It all rings up fine, but the cashier has to pull out a yellow form and fill it out to give me a discount. Going very, very slowly. (Think someone writing a check in the express lane of a grocery store). Then she made me fill out my name and address on the form and sign it. (Me: "I have to do this TO USE A COUPON!?!") Then she asked me for my ID.
But, when the Galactica set rings up at $22, I guess it's worth it.

Get this: At Best Buy, I had a copy of both Serenity and Battlestar Galactica 2.0. When I got to the register, I peeled one of the coupons off and handed it to the cashier. She scanned it and took $10 off of the purchase. She then proceeded to tear the other coupon off, scan it, and take $10 more off of the purchase! I got BSG 2.0 for $22.99 AND Serenity for $7.99.

It was easier to say that she scanned it than to say "manual override". Technically, she scanned the coupon and nothing happened. She asked the cashier beside of her and he said to manually enter the coupon. She took the one that I handed her, manually entered the $10 coupon. Then, without saying a word, she tore the one off of Serenity and manually entered it as an additional $10 coupon. The grand total with tax included was $33.15.

Consider it an extra Christams gift - you totally lucked out and got a deal there, as she really should have only given you $10 off, instead of $20. That's seasonal help for you. I doubt you'd be as lucky a second time, or that others would get the same experience.

Oh yeah, also wanted to say that the Wal-mart I was in today, did not have BG 2.0, but they did have Serenity - however no coupons on the package. I believe sale price for Serenity was $17.99, or you could it in a 2 pack (with The Hulk, which I thought was an odd pairing) for $19.99.

My Best Buy was sold out of BSG-2.0 by 4 in the afternoon - figures - the one time I wait to go after work is the when they sell out of the one thing I wanted - I was so pissed. I ended up getting it at CostCo.

I wasn't too attentive myself, and walked out w/out getting the $10 off. The coupon scanned, but shows as 0.00 on the receipt. I am absolutely not going back in there in the next month, it's too crowded. Can I get it fixed via the website maybe, using the customer service PIN?

Maybe you didn't notice it. I exchanged this disc and played the new one on an entirely different player when I was out of town this weekend, and the exact same thing happened. Could be a layer change--but on multi-ep TV DVDs, aren't layer changes usually between episodes?
