The Wire season 3 on DVD?
I'm just getting into season one of this show and I already have decided on getting season two soon. Has anyone heard any news on the season 3 release?

Not yet. I'm sure it will be released to coincide when the fourth season starts to air. Unfortunately that is going to be a while from now since they just started to actually shoot it. I'm thinking summer of '06, or something like that.
