From what I can tell the boxed set was released first, then the individual titles later. If this isn't allowed I'll pick something else. (I haven't read every ruling on the boxed sets but as far as I can tell this one is OK).
That should be OK

Asleep at the wheel here, but I still get my pick.
I choose Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2-Disc Collector's Edition).

Remasters are different from the original discs.

I know that, I'm asking if any of the remasters were available individually before the set came out. (I don't think so, but I could be wrong).

Sorry. No, the remasters were released on the same day as the set.

Why isn't the Complete Monterey Pop Festival considered a boxed set? It's three individual movies in one set.

I don't know anything about the set. I looked at the description on Amazon, it looked like one movie with a bunch of special features. Am I wrong?

I'm pretty sure that the discs in this were the same as in previous released versions.

There are three films in the set, Monterey Pop, Jimi Plays Monterey, and Shake!: Otis at Monterey.

Disc 1 is a concert documentary, disc 2 is Hendrix's set at Monterrey and Otis Redding's set, and disc 3 is footage that didn't make it into to documentary. But everything is shot for the documentary, so it could be considered special features.

Bruce Lee: Master Collection
I think all the discs came out the same day as the box. And I think these were new transfers. Please correct if wrong.

Jimi Plays Monterey and Shake! are both about 40 minutes long and are made up of real-time concert footage, are they still films?
No big deal either way, unless someone takes my Animal House DSPE WS. I'm looking at you ryuryu.
