I think it's a really good idea for season-long storylines. Nothing sucks worse than missing one of those episodes.

I only wish they offered Alias as the episode that introduced the new characters this season was messed up on the HD feed in my area. I got audio, but no video.

No. I've only bought a couple tv shows on DVD, and have no desire for single episodes.

If they were $2 episode and they were the quality of the current divx torrents I use now. I would rather pay for the real thing. Then they should give a credit towards the dvd release. I'm following like 10 shows this year and most I download.

I missed 'Lost' when it originally aired & don't want to but the whole season set yet since I haven't seen it yet, so I just downloaded the 1st episode & if I like it, I might buy the DVD set.

I see this service as a great way to get favorite episodes of shows that I've already seen & want to watch on my video ipod (whenever it comes out). It's also a great way to sample a series without paying much $$$.

And, unless my computer is weird, I think the aspect ratio is 4:3

Another incentive that might be good is to offer Pilot episodes of shows using Itunes and then include a coupon to buy the full season DVD sets.

FOX does with Starter Set DVD discs where they offer the Pilot episode and a coupon to buy the Full season DVD set.
