Any Michael Bay film has scenes happening against a sunset. Doesn't follow your definition of 'classic' films though.

Even though technically it's not a "sun" set (plus it was rising), that was a pretty sweet ending. I too would like a DVD.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet...

One of my favorite sunset scenes is the one from the Princess Bride. It was the first scene that made having the big widescreen tv worth it.
