Didn't get a chance to go see this at the theaters, but be curious to see what happens with this release. But like others have said, it is Fox.

Count me among the FF fans who was dreading the movie and ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. Be nice if Fox does a I Heart Huckabees or Master & Commander and releases both versions on the same day.

Sucky Version = Meaning the movie itself ?

I'll most definitely be getting this 12/13 version. I haven't really found the need to double dip on any of the Fox titles so far. Although I would be curious to see a director's cut (but not THAT curious). It also helps if you have no interest in extras.

I hardly ever watch extras anyway,so I will probably just grab the first release.

I hope there is an extended version on the horizon. This is one of the few movies I've thought was too short.

"Fast paced" - while I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, the film was still flawed and generally in the editing/"pacing"/obligatory character development-expository part of the film. An interview with the cast on XM radio's channel Cinemagic noted that the DVD would have some deleted scenes.

I will wait for the SE and not jump on a barebones initial release (if that happens to be the case).

I look forward to F4 on DVD... but not shamelessly double dipped. I think I agree with others here and say, "I'll wait..."

I wish all movies were like released like LOTR. There was enough info out there so you knew when the DTS version was being released so you weren't suckered into double dipping. It would be great if you could go to a studio's web site and you could look up a movie - find out about the different releases and estimated release dates. Even if they said bare bones - q1 2006 - DTS Q3 2006 I would be OK with that teeny tiny bit of info.

By the looks of that cover you'd think it was "The Invisible Woman and the Fantastic 3." Oh well, looking forward to the release.

From the features, it looks pretty packed. I might as well go ahead and pick up this version.

I think the cover art is kinda weak, but I will still be getting this version.

Hopefully it will have some sort of fancy slipcase.

Ehhhhhhh, doesn't sound like one thing on there that I would actually watch, so I am still probably going to be getting that single disc.

Any word on the SE for this, I'm assuming maybe a release for the holiday season?

X3 coming to dvd made me think of this one and damn Fox needs to get a clue already and stop waiting on the double discs, if you had released this, you would have my money already and you wouldn't have to wait another year to get my money for X3.

p.s. yes, I already know about other regions, but we need these in R1 already.

I don't think I would be going out on a limb to guess that the SE will come out next summer before the sequel hits theaters.
