Alexander

I just picked up the DVD. I heard the movie is bad, it's never a good sign when the director's cut removes minutes from the film instead of adding it.

I haven't seen the movie, but I am willing to give this one a chance. I like most Oliver Stone movies, even unpopular ones like NBK. I want to like this movie because I am a history geek. In fact I just happened to finish reading a section about Alexander TG in a book by John Keegan. I am ready to get lost in a bit of a top-heavy epic, maybe it meanders, I'm sure I won't mind. But I guess I'll see.

I'll let you you all know what I think after I've seen it.
