Did Overstock refund anyone's payment for Undeclared? I got a refund notice from PayPal that said it was refunded on instructions from the FTC.

Seems like it's illegal to charge for something before it ships, and Overstock just got caught. Take that, deceitful Internet-based DVD store!

On another note - the episodes on this set are presented by order of air-date - which is not in correct chronological order. For example, one espisode a couple will be dating, and the next, the couple hardly even know each other.

Does anyone have the correct order of the episodes?

Too bad I already watched the set (and definately noticed inconsistences, just like Reno 911 S1), why can't companies do better product testing so the f***ing episodes are in the proper order?

The e-mail that went out from Judd in the past day or two said that there really isn't a proper order, or at least not one they could figure out.

Yep-I got the email today but hadn't seen it before the link in this thread.

My wife said "Judd Apatow sent you an email while you were at work."

From the review: http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=16552
3. Once again, and for no good reason, Fox decided to air a series completely out of production order, which certainly doesn't help when you're talking about minor things like character development and the gradual evolution of the kids' relationships. The DVD places the episodes in their original production order*, but I've included each episode's original airdate, just so you can see the pointlessly random way in which Fox (mis)handled the series. I'll also include each episode's most enjoyable cameo appearances, as there are several.
So, which is it???

I suppose I could just wait until I get home- it should be in my mailbox today..

-jason

(OK, nevermind. I just saw the note and the website. That (mostly) clears it up. I wonder if there will be corrected discs made available in the future...)

How would the creator of the show not know if there was a correct order? That doesn't make sense at all.

That happened to me as well. Thing with me is that I got the refund the same day I got the shipping notice.

In case people didn't sign up for the e-mail or downloaded the PDF, here is Mr. Apatow note:

Friends,
I hate to say it, but we made a mistake. The episodes are not in the proper order. How does that happen? Well, the network ran them in a random order, so we started shooting them without too much concern for episode order, and then when it was time to make this DVD we got confused. But fear not, below is the preferred order of episodes for Undeclared for your enjoyment.
But if you like the current crazy order, more power to you.

Best,

Judd Apatow

According to the list above:

Disc 1: CORRECT
1) Prototype
2a) Oh, So You Have a Boyfriend?
2b) Full Bluntal Nugety
3) Eric Visits
4) Jobs, Jobs, Jobs
5) Sick in the Head

The other two discs are out of order.

I hate to actually post something that's NOT complaining about a disc , but picked this up yesterday and am enjoying the hell out of it. I loved this show when it aired and was really sad it didn't come back - it still holds up great. Total freshman flashbacks. Great extras, too, I can't wait to dig into some of the commentaries. An awesome set.

picked this up on release date and have been enjoying it immensely. It seems this show would work better as an hour show instead of the half-hour it was.

Go to the site and you will find a "sticky note" indicating Undeclared episode correction. Click the link and there you have it.

BTW, this set won't be released in Canada until August 30th. Does anybody know why it was delayed here?
