Changed my mind, went to Walmart, & bought it with the bonus DVD...
then went to BB (opened early at 8), didn't buy it, but when I used my RZ card, the cashier gave me a Lithograph anyways.

Pretty crappy looking Lithograph, though.

For the sake of completeness, my Wal - Mart sold the bonus disc version for $19.95 as well. Carrollton, TX.

I was there right at midnight, and the sad thing was the normal version was ringing up at $19.95 as well. They said it will take the sale price about 20 minutes to cycle through the system from corporate.

Jeezz..

So people who wanted the sale price had to sit back and wait.

Kinda sucks that the last Star Wars DVD release (at least for the moment of course) isn't flagged properly. If I remember correctly, the other DVDs always came up as Dolby Digital EX. You can always force it into the mode, but I forget to do that for the right movies now and then...

Actually, many people complained of TPM and AOTC DVDs not being flagged correctly.

Picked mine up this morning at target with the free coin as I wasn't paying $5 for the seemingly worthless disc, or joining reward zone to get a lithograph.

Was $15.99 at target. They didn't have many left, maybe 10 widescreen and 5 fullscreen or so.

Let me be the first to say that the Walmart Bonus Disk sucks ass. I can't believe I spent an extra five bucks on 3PO summarizing the saga (minus Ep III) for an hour. What a crock of shit. I know what the stories are about, dammit. Where's the never before seen footage so highly touted? Man, for a minute I was scared that it was just gonna be that "Making of Star Wars" cheesy doc that was available as a promo item on VHS so long ago, but this is just 100 times worse. Now I wish it was that making-of just to have it on DVD and make it worth my five bucks. I'm pissed. Wonder how much I can get for it on ebay.

Son of a bitch.

It would appear Canada got screwed out of the WalMart bonus disc. I was at 2 walmarts today and no bonus - I asked about it at both places and they gave me the deer in the headlights look.

To top it all off, BOTH Walmarts only stocked Fool Screen editions of Office Space SE

Some people will never be happy no matter what. Why do Star Wars fans love to have something to bitch about?

Anyome get the BB exclusive Darth Vader figure? If so, how much was it? I saw some old guy buying 3 figures and like 6 of the lightsabers.

It's amazing how Star Wars generates so much anger from people.

I loved the film. Transfer was ridiculous, and the DD-EX was great as well. Loved the disc art. The animated menus were great as always. I really enjoyed the documentary. But that's about the only thing I really look forward to on DVDs of any type, other than commentary. Deleted scenes don't do much for me unless they're reinserted back into the film, and I've already seen the webdocs, teasers, trailers, and commercials.

Bonus materials are a one shot deal for me. Once I've seen them, I have no desire to watch them again.

Went this route as well. It was $14.99 at my store though, coupled with my employee discount and it came out to just a little over $13.

For those wondering about the Best Buy Darth Vader Unleashed Figure, the store i went to had signs up saying that they wouldn't be getting their shipment of the figures until next week.

I also concur that the Bonus disk blows on a new level. The 15 minutes that they used to summerize episode 1 might actually be better than the movie except that it doesn't have the complete lightsaber fight. If they wanted this thing to be any good they should have had Lucas or McCallum talk about Life after the movies. Maybe explain a little about the upcoming TV shows. I think i might've been better off going to target and getting the DVD about people waiting to see Episode's 2 and 3. Probably would be more interesting.

I was a little disappointed with this disc. Its fine for my osbsessive SW completeness, but it's just a recap of the other SW movies. It's in full frame and I think that it appeared on FOX as interstitials between the tv broadcast of PM and AOTC. It definately has that "made for tv" feel. Still it looks better on my shelf than a Vader coin or lithograph.

did anyone's bonus disk come sealed? I was just checking out ebay and some of them were listed as sealed. I am surprised at how much they were going for on ebay already. One was up to almost 30 while another was at $15. I assmume that some of these are from people in the UK or canada, but still. Easy money.

I'm SURE most of these are going to be copies. It's a single layer disc anyway.

No, in fact the sticker across the two disc is attached to the two DVDs and is hard to come off the cover of the bonus disc. Get out the goo-be-gone
