Some of the films on your "not released" list are actually out from various PD companies. Checkout out Treeline's 50 movie Sci-Fi set, and Alpha Video's website for specific titles.

I thought I'd done that. Did you have any particular titles in mind?

Genres tend to evolve; I think Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter are kind of the modern equivalent.

Have you seen "Conqueror of Atlantis"?. What a great film!

During the first 25 minutes of the film it looks as if the plot will be fairly ordinary, along the lines of a "western" taking place in the Arabian desert. Then the plot goes in an entirely different direction and includes the discovery of the lost city of Atlantis, with futuristic technology and and an army of zombies.

I don't want to destroy the fun so that's all I tell you. The movie is an extra on the "Goliath and the Dragon" SWV DVD.

What's truly cool about the film, Duff Beer, is the stunning location shots including beautiful panoramas of ruined cities and windswept desert. Unfotunately, the movie is presented in fullscreen and the quality of the print used by SWV, though passable, ain't nothing to brag about.

If my dentist told me I could have a pristine anamorphic widescreen copy of this film with the original soundtrack with English subtitles if I let him pull a tooth, I might do it!

Yep i have that, unfortunately it has that annoying SW watermark on the bottom right and does look stretched and sides cut off in places. What's nice about that film especially is that it was filmed on location in Egypt! Son of Hercules against the Molemen is drastically cut down to a mere 30 mintues as a featurrete on the Something Weird Hercules against the Moon Men and i wish it was released in its entirety.

Fire Monsters Against the Son of Hercules has recently come out on dvd.

I'm missing that from my list. Do you have a link?
