Dang...I'll hold on to my original and swap out the art. That's pretty rough looking.

The closest we could get for Lebowski would be (apologies to previous posts who mentioned some of these):

- The set is a beat-up duffle bag
- A fake toe is inside
- White Russian recipe
- cancelled check for 97 cents (or whatever the milk cost)
- A small rug replica
- The Nixon bowling poster
- "Are you a Lebowski Achiever"? mirror
White Russians aren't that hard to make

There was really only one deleted scene; the other "scenes" were single shots. And the deleted scene was in the movie, but there was narration over part of it.

And I enjoy the commentary, but it doesn't exactly get into the process.

Barton Fink had deleted scenes (did Miller's Crossing? I'm at work and can't check).
There are deleted scenes from "Miller's Crossing", according to one website, but they've never been released. At least one of them was shot, though. But, no, "Miller's" only has a short like featurette on it.

Not the greatest cover art ever, but it will grow on me. I will be picking this up regardless.

The most attractive feature, for me, as a fan of the film is that all-new transfer. Should make things interesting for the comparison fanatics. That alone means they have got my money already. I was originally concerned that they wouldn't give it a new transfer, so it looks like it's gonna be all good and stuff.

Boo! But the new transfer is the most important thing anyway.

Damn I really like the Giftset box artwork. Much better than the new artwork on just the dvd itself. I just wonder how low it is going to be sold.

Edit...Never mind just found it on preorder at Amazon for $35.

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...563853-0530418

Still might be to high considering you can get the non giftset for $14.

Decisions to be made.
