I sure didn't know it was in any kind of demand. Looks like a good time to sell mine.

I wonder what in the world sort of extras they will put on a new release of WoZ. I'm wondering if I should keep my 3-disc set and just get the eventual BD for the actual a/v upgrade, or if the BD will have everything on it also.

Hmmm...

I would assume that all the special features will be on the BD of Wizard of Oz, but I could be completely wrong. I'll wait until an official release is announced.

That is what I'm hoping for although there are some extras that weren't ported from the first Oz release to the 4-disc edition. There are also some extras from the Laserdisc that haven't been ported to DVD.

Wow! I didn't know this Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind were going for $40-$50 on ebay. I've got both. I think I may unload these and just grab whatever new ones come out next year or so. My GWTW is still sealed.

Sold my used 2-disc copy for $40. Just know that I'll want the BD and figured I'd sell it before the market gets too flooded with other copies.

As is mine. It's been sitting gathering dust on my shelf for months. Just put my copy up on Amazon for 60 bucks - I was probably never going to watch it anyway.

$45 doesn't seem like a crazy price.

This is common knowledge.

edit: I'm keeping it since I doubt the blu-ray will have everything.

This is also common knowledge.

I put the Oz 3-disc on my wish list for a few years straight I never got it (I should have just bought the damn thing). But then I heard that a Blu-ray is in the works so I'm holding out now (watch somebody buy it for me this year).

Hopefully the BD will have all the 3-disc features ported over.

Ummm.... this is common knowledge?

It's supposed to be released between in the second or third quarter of the year.

You can still buy the 3-Disc Collector's Edition (brand new) from Amazon Marketplace for about MSRP.

Uncommon knowledge is not common knowledge.

This is common knowledge.
