Because I find the bleep very jarring when watching it and I believe in the first amendment of the constitution, especially when it applies to something I am paying for.

Was the DVD edited or was the PPV edited?

Either way, that sucks...

My only problem with the 'fuck' issue is... They call it ECW... They promote it like ECW... They hold it in a ECW venue... But they censor/beep/edit it like the WWE!

ECW always was totally uncensored... Nothing was taboo... Nothing was off limits. But with the WWE finger on the dump/beep button, they can't honestly call it ECW.

It was a FANTASTIC show... I'm glad I got the PPV, but I'm not gonna get the DVD until it's 100% uncensored. Which probably means never.

The PPV was definitely edited. There were bleeps here and there. Must've been on a 10 second delay or something.

Actually, when ECW was on TV in the mid-90's (on various east coast local channels at insane times of the early morning), swear words were most definitely bleeped out. They were also bleeped out on TNN.

Jesus... TV beeps weren't due to ECW's choice it's FCC rules... But I thought we were talking about PPVs.

Okay I'll rephrase... All ECW PPVs were uncensored and all the shit I already said. Blah, blah, blah...

I just finished watching the DVD. Wow! Great show. I enjoyed this more than any WWE PPV in recent memory.

Did anyone else notice during the Benoit/Eddie match, the video seemed to change early on and it looked more like it was shot on film? Then, close to the end of the match, it went back to the "video" look. Just curious if anyone else saw this and what the reason might be.

what? no they were not i have the show recorded so i guess i can say i have living proof that the they did not bleep anything on the live show. they probably bleeped all the encores though but not the live show itself.
but the fact still remains that they edited it all out on the dvd I KNEW they would it was a guarantee iv been saying they would do that ever since the ppv. wwe is so predictable in every way and they suck. i hope one day they go out of buisness then i will be able to have a smile on my face once again.

I'm no WWE homer, but you do realize that if the WWE folded, you'd never see or hear ECW again, right?

I think the results would be more far reaching than that. If the huge successful WWE folded, it would in essence show all networks that pro-wrestling is not a viable, money-making product. I am no homer either, but if WWE folded the effects on the PW industry would be devastating.

It must've been dependent on the cable company. I ordered it LIVE as it happened (on Time Warner) and there were bleeps all over the place. Not when the audience chanted, but when a wrestler or someone close to one said "Fuck". I remember about 3-4 bleeps.

If that's true, why didn't you tell us Matt Hardy would show up last night? Oh, wait, you had no clue!

I have the PPV on tape from the live show, and it was bleeped several times. A TV-14 rating will get you bleeps.

Whats the point of talking to you if your just gonna bash what i say maybe it was bleeped for you but i know for a fact it wasnt bleeped for me i dont know how thats possible cable companies? honestly i dont know but it wasnt bleeped when i watched it not once, and about that matt hardy. thing they gave it away before he even showed up with edge and lita watching the part where they pretended matt was coming out on the wedding plus i was refering to when i watch the show not in advance lol jack ass. and PixyJunket i wasnt saying anything about gay psychic crap wich if you believe in you are lame with no life, im simply saying they have been doing the same crap for years so its always easy to see whats going to happen next for example evolution they did the same run in ever freakin night for MONTHS lierally MONTHS. well im finished posting in here i have one last thing to say if i said anything as stupid as you guys have been saying, id shave my ass and shoot myself in the face. oh ps. dont bother with any smart ass comebacks because i wont be on to read them besides if i cared about your guys opinions youd have a television show lmao, later!

Just to clairify... The live show WAS beeped. It had a TV-14 Rating and anyone who says the live show was not censored was either not paying attention or is just plain on crack. If it was not beeped WWE could get in serious trouble seeing as how it was a TV-14 show.

Yeah, I had no idea what he said. Punctuation, spelling, line spaces, & grammar would be a huge help.

Somehow, I feel something like "AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE, BECAUSE NEWBIE SAID SO!" or "IF YA SMELLELELELELELLL...WHAT THE NEWB...IS COOKIN!" would have worked better than "lmao, later".

Adventfayte, personal attacks are against forum rules. I would highly suggest avoiding comments like this in the future.
