this movie was decent, great acting and all, but SOOOOO overrated. it was too slow moving and could have done a lot better

I finally watched this last night---there were certainly a few powerful scenes, but this movie never really came together at all. Perhaps I was expecting more out of certain characters, but some of the intertwining situations and "resolutions" were almost laughable...especially after such a strong start. Even so, I'll probably give it another chance soon. I'll probably feel different about it when I already know the conclusion and can just focus on the atmosphere (which was actually quite good).
