Toy Story 2-Pack question...
I'm in trade talks with a guy online. He has the Toy Story 2-Pack, but he says that both discs say "Toy Story 2" on them. I'm just wondering if the manufacturers slipped up (or something happened along the way causing his Toy Story disc to be replaced with a second Toy Story 2 disc), or if this was an issue that occurred with all of the sets.

Good deal, thanks for the responses. The only thing is, I would have been getting a wonderful deal had I made this trade (nearly 3:1 in my favor)...and a sale on eBay of the 2-pack would've payed for the special editions, and then some probably. So I was just trying to save myself a bit of cash, but I'll be passing now. Thank you to everybody that responded.

Rise from the grave....
so, major thread necro but I'm re-evaluating how I'm going to keep collecting DVDs going forward and one thing I may be getting back into is owning multiple versions of my favorite movies for all the different features and such. I'm not going to buy like a hundred versions of the Evil Dead movies or anything like that, but if a good movie has a couple different, very unique versions, I'll hang onto both versions.
So, for Toy Story, I have all four films, plus the two short features, on Bluray (with the last one being 4K) but I also still have my DVD versions - both the Ultimate Toy Box and the 2 disc DTS remasters of each film.
Is there any reason at all to have this 2 disc set like any special features not duplicated elsewhere? I see it used all the time but I've never bothered with it before since I have so many other versions.

Per DVDCompare.net's comparisons of the DVD's:
OVERALL: Draw
OVERALL: Draw
The US Ultimate Toy Box has the first two films and some extras not ported to later releases. Note the US box has more extras on the main discs than the UK and Australian boxes.
The US 2 Disc Special Edition has a DTS-ES track and lengthy extras.
The US/Canada 2010 DVD edition and German 2010 Special Edition have newly created extras but lose many of the previously released extras.
Note that there is a minor difference (between the US and international versions) in Buzz's speech scene. See Movie Censorship for more details.
Note about the end credits
"Toy Story 2" has three different cuts of the film over the years, not counting the logo changes in regards to the 2006 Walt Disney Pictures logo for the 2010 releases onward.
・The original theatrical version from November 1999 does not include outtakes during the credits.
・The second theatrical version is from December 25, 1999 which includes outtakes during the credits.
・The third version from 2019 (for home video and streaming) includes the outtakes but the "Stinky Pete learned a skill" outtake has been removed.
The US 2 Disc Special Edition has a DTS-ES track and lengthy extras.

Re: Toy Story 2-Pack question...
I forgot what it was so I just pulled it up on YouTube. I suspect you're right. It doesn't look like this has drawn any collector interest in that release as yet, but in case it does later it might be worth hanging onto now while you've got it. It'd be obnoxious to have to fork over more money to replace it than you get out of it today. My guess is it's so niche it won't reach that point, but then again, anyone who still cares about physical media in the years to come will inherently be a niche collector anyway.
