House Of Wax - 10/25 (?)
The Digital Bits announced that on 10/18, the House of Wax will open for business.
No specs have been added yet, but supposedly, the MTV Movie Life documentary is a bonus.
EDIT:
Ok, it's now rumored to be the 25th, so we'll see.

This is one of the movies I wouldn't pay to see in the movie theaters. But, when it comes out on DVD, I'll be picking it up at that point to check it out. Better to pay less for a DVD and watch it as many times as you want, as opposed to paying MORE for it to see it ONE time in the theaters.

Yeah, that was great...along with Parises death scene which had some painful moments before she was finally killed. It really made me jump and squirm in pain. A good reaction since most films today,no matter how gory/violent usually don't affect me,since they are directed rather blandly and feel 'fake' so to speak(CGI gore does'nt help either).
So it was nice to see some real gore effects being used for a change and also showing the victims suffer in some way, made it more impactful than a simple "Slash..dead" like most films today.
I was very surprised with this film since I have disliked/been unimpressed with every Dark Castle film so far...until now. Also a steady build up before the thrills and spills also helped as well. Since most films are way to impatient(Amityville Horror remake perfect example) that they become less effective by showing too much, too soon.

Back on topic...
I never saw the movie but always liked the original, so that kept me away. But it seems like some people thought it wasn't that bad so I might end up checking it out on DVD.
