The Holy Trinity:
Monty Python and the Holy Grail Annie Hall This is Spinal Tap |
Showgirls lol

If I had to name just one, I would go with Ghostbusters...Of course there are many more I could list, but all of them already have been.
|
Dumb & Dumber beats everything.
|
If you're old enough to remember the Cold War (and even if you aren't):
Dr. Strangelove (Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb) may just be the funniest film of all time. |
my picks:
Bad(der) Santa Meet the Parents Napoleon Dynamite Office Space South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut There's Something About Mary |
Because I'm sure someone reading actually cares enough to give something a view blind..
Broadcast News Galaxy Quest Being There Groundhog Day Bulworth Nurse Betty O Brother, Where Art Thou? Ghostbusters Defending Your Life Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead Quick Change Planes, Trains & Automobiles Big Lebowski, The Rare Birds Arthur Office Space Strange Brew Real Genius I Love You to Death L.A. Story Joe Versus the Volcano Bowfinger Brain Donors Let It Ride Funny Farm |
Everybody knows that what is funny is based on everybodys individual taste, so I will take a few movies that I think would appeal to everyone (for laughs).
Dumb and Dumber Planes, Trains and Automobiles There's Something About Mary National Lampoons: Loaded Weapon (Lethal Weapon spoof) My Father The Hero (Depardieu is hilarious in this comedy, despite some sappy dramatic moments) Groundhog Day (1 of Bill Murray's finest films) The Birdcage Weekend At Bernies The Nutty Professor (the Eddie Murphy version) Meet The Parents Coming To America The Big Lebowski Me Myself, And Irene Bowfinger Office Space (actually, alot of the films I want to put on this list a poster above me put, so that is all :)) but, still, I rank National Lampoons: Vacation as 1 of the funniest movies, because Chevy Chase is just a complete idiot the whole movie. |
I will go with office space and the big lebowski.
Also,I would include clerks but it is not for everyone. And while its not a comedy, the entire bootcamp part of full metal jacket is hilarious. The drill sgt is one of my favorite movie characters. |
What? Am I the only one who thinks ANIMAL HOUSE is the funniest ever?
|

Caddy Shack Space Balls It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World Damn near anything from the Farrely Brothers... |
