I would LOVE to see the show CYBILL, starring some woman named Cybill Shepherd. I thought it was a great show, but I don't see it coming out any time soon.

Hooperman (1987): Thirty-minute dramedy with John Ritter. Two seasons were produced (42 episodes). I'd think there would be some interest due to the star. Sadly, it only has 222 votes on tvshowsondvd.com, and will likely never see a DVD release.
Maximum Bob (1998): Excellent series based on the Elmore Leonard book of the same name. It was a replacement series for NYPD Blue for only a seven-week run. I'd buy the set, but tvshowsondvd.com only shows 247 others would; i.e. no release. Fantasy Island (1998): With the 1977 version due out soon, I hope there's a demand for the updated (and much better, IMO) version. However, tvshowsondvd.com has only 477 votes. I'd happily buy the 13-episode run if it's released. |

Gord I think the Gunsmoke release is just a collection of episodes spanning the 20 year run of the show to mark the 50th anniversary as opposed to the beginning of season set releases. |
The NEW Leave it to Beaver. I remember watching it on TBS in the late 80s. Another vote for You Can't Do That on Television. As far as the reference to Cold Case, they surely made the agreement for the songs in the dvd release. If they secured all the music for Freaks and Geeks, then Bruckheimer can get it for Cold Case. My concern is that studios present shows in their HD aspect ratio with 16:9 transfers if they aired that way. Non anamorphic widescreen is an insult. When watching newer shows like Revelations, I feel the sides are so cropped off.

The Equalizer w/Edward Woodward
we need this oh yeah and Twin Peaks Season 2 already! |
Oh man, what about Siskel and Ebert??
I would actually be interested in seeing some of those. They included their review on the Pulp Fiction disc and it is fun to listen to them bantering about a movie. |

A few others: Wizards & Warriors - just so I can see if it's as cheesy as I remember it from my childhood. Lasted all of 8 episodes, and came out when I was a major Dungeons & Dragons geek. The bonecrack demon lives! ;) |
Mystery Science Theater 3000 season 0.
And speaking of Mystery Science Theater, does Comedy Central ever show reruns of the seasons it owns? |

There is a loophole in the copyright law that allows for the production and selling of copyrighted movies/shows that are not being produced by the copyright holder. Strange as that sounds. Not sure of the particulars but it's been going on since the early days of vhs. |
Robbery Homicide Division - Very good cop show from Michael Mann and starring Tom Sizemore.
The Handler - Joe Pantoliano was great. Co-starred Hill Harper who found a home on "CSI: NY". |
