Which TV series will NEVER make it to DVD?

"Route 66" (1960-1964) I was turned on to this show from Nick at Night. The writing on this show was classic.
"In Search of..." (1976-1982) That creepy intro music and the bigfoot episode messed me up as a kid.
"The Lazarus Man" (1996) Western...one season...will never make it.

Also, for those that like Wonder Years...if they changed the music, even if it was only on a small/select amount of episodes, would you buy the set?

I'd buy the retail set if it wasn't to butchered.

You seem to think the studio owes you something, and if they don't release it then you'll support the people that do. That's a pretty poor attitude.

Lisa Kudrow's The Comeback ... NOT!!!!
HBO will definitely release it though ... Hopefully the price tag will be high enough that anyone even remotely thinking of getting it, won't.

10 pages of this thread and nobody has mentioned The Man From Atlantis!
I'd kill for that, Quark, Otherworld, VR.5, It's Your Move, The Fantastic Journey, Salvage I, Paper Chase, Brothers, Dungeons & Dragons (don't give up hope yet on that one!), Logan's Run, Batman '66, Wait 'Til Your Father Gets Home, The Tick, Jake 2.0, The Ropers, Three's A Crowd, Hermans Head, Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, and In Search Of...
I'd also want WKRP and Wonder Years, but yep...I've given up hope on those for music rights. Same for Ally McBeal, which I'm shocked that noone mentioned.
After being given false hope from Paramount, Family Ties disappeared into a black hole, and I don't know what the status is. Same for Bosom Buddies. In a report at Sitcoms Online, Erin Gray's manager states that Sony has stopped work on Silver Spoons for some reason; it won't make it to DVD for the time being. Noone mentioned Voltron, but it's also in a black hole right now, presumably waiting to tie in with the new live-action film being made for a couple of years from now.
Consumers got some single-disc best-of's for Kotter and for Maverick...it's a start. Show some support and Warner may do better.
By now I take it that everyone knows we're getting DVDs for American Gothic, Get Smart, I Dream of Jeannie, Fantasy Island, Growing Pains, Gunsmoke, Point Pleasant, Ned & Stacey, Profit, Space: Above & Beyond, Wild Palms, Beavis & Butthead (with some music videos!), Wings, Nowhere Man, Hart To Hart, Rockford Files, Dark Shadows Revival, SeaQuest DSV, and The Office (US version). If you haven't heard the news about these shows, then click here and use the appropriate look-up function to find that news.
dougb222: check TVShowsOnDVD's front page news early next week, it will please you.

I am beginning to think Cold Case is never going to be released due to music issues. At least, they are saying music issues are preventing it from coming out now, which sucks. It is a new enough show that they should have taken care of that from the start.
