When I was living in the UK, my first title was the first Austin Powers.

Then I moved here to the US and the first one I picked up with the DVD player was 'Scream' & 'Three Kings'.

I bought two dvd's my first time, The Matrix and The Sixth Sense. I couldn't figure out how to open that damn warner snapper and I ruined the packaging.

Starship Troopers - a long time ago in April 1998. And IIRC I payed like $40 CAD for it at Blockbuster. I remember the desicion was between this and Top Gun.

Who would have known, huh? But I ripped them open and watched many times over the years, and still have them.

Trust me, I had drooled over the $125 laserdisc versions for too long, so a $25 DVD was a God send.

singing in the rain(movie only edition)

I bought my first dvd player in early 99 with no discs yet for it. then after a few months bought dvds. used if first to play a few vcds,since it had the abilty to played pressed vcds and audios cds.

The first DVD that I ever got was Lawrence of Arabia LE which I received as a gift in August 2001

The first DVD that I ever bought was The Patriot SE in April 2002. I paid $9.49 for it at Overstock.com.
