As opposed to the highly skilled labor making DVDs in the US?

I'd like widescreen, anamorphic, heavy on the surround sound, and hold the refried beans.

That's when i feel for the "gringo" in all of us. I buy DVD's all around the world and I've never paid attention to where they were made. Really who cares, what counts is cheap and enjoyable. Quality? Try Dualdiscs for "cd's" that don't play in my Jetta. By the way, my jetta was made in Puebla, Mexico (like all the rest of the VW Jettas)...

It's "racist" to be concerned about the fact that big corporations exploit foreign labor and ship their operations to countries where they don't have to be troubled with obeying labor and environmental laws like we have in the US? Next thing you know these damn "racists" will be complaining about children working 14 hour days for $3. Think about what DVDs will cost then! Stop these evil racist scumbags before Walmart dump bin prices get up to $6 a DVD.

Ebay? Do you realize you bumped a year old thread that has nothing to do with your question to ask this?

I'm not sure but i think personal attacks are agaisnt forum rules.
Not trying to do the mods jobs though, just giving you the info since you seem to be new. If you have a problem with someone's post, your best bet is to email one of the moderators.

You sure must have a broad definition of racist. Nice that this has been your only post since signing up. Thanks for the contribution.

I'm all for this. I'm hoping these DVDs will in turn help additional DVDs sneak into my collection.

I don't think anything is actually made in America anymore. We just base our economy on selling things to each other.

Who cares where it's made really as long as it plays, although it would be nice to see manufacturing jobs in the US. Maybe this is one of those "jobs Americans won't do for pay americans won't accept"

If we had more manufacturing factories here again, then the tree huggers would say they're polluting and we should get rid of them.

Can't win.
