Lord of the RIngs EE Box
Does anyone know where i can get the box for the Lord of the Rings extended editions..
i know this has been discussed, but i can't seem to find them anymore

Well, it was a limited deal direct from New Line. It was offered with the ROTK-EE set that told of a website in which you could order one free of charge except for $3 shipping charges.

The offer expired on 3/31/2005. Your best bet is to try ebay. Buy the 3 EE box set, keep the slipcase and ditch the 3 EE movies on ebay, unless the slipcase prices on eBay become more sane.

The box really isn't anything special. The way the titles are arranged on the spine is kind of ugly, so I keep mine displayed in the opposite direction, with the individual discs showing, which more or less defeats the purpose of putting them in a box.
