Hoop Dreams: The Criterion Collection (Already out at my Best Buy!)

I was in Best Buy, doing the usual of just looking around for no specific reason, and sitting there in plain view in the documentary section was the Hoop Dreams: The Criterion Collection DVD. Not just one, but at least eight or so. Me and my cousin both bought the DVD. I was planning on doing so anyway on Tuesday, and I'm sure I might have saved a few bucks by waiting, but I just thought it was cool to see it already. I've never been able to grab a DVD before the actual release date.

I haven't watched any of it yet, but the 40-page booklet included is great, full of pictures and very interesting essays. Yet another fantastic release from Criterion I'm sure.

Anyway, I guess we can talk about this here, or just take this thread as a heads up to those of you who want to try and get it early. I just thought I'd share.

if they won't just buy a new one and return that new sealed copy with your receipt from today's purchase.

My box from DVD Planet arrived today with Hoop Dreams, Burden of Dreams, The Life Aquatic and Warner's controversial classics box set. Hoop Dreams is the first one I plan on digging into.
Still, I'm just happy to hear of more & more Criterions creeping onto the shelves at places like Best Buy.

Does anyone know if Barnes & Nobles pricematches? I've got a bunch of credits there and I know they have a pretty solid collection of Criterions but their prices tend to stay close to MSRP.
