how is the transfer on Eraser?
I know it is an older dvd but is the transfer any good? Its one of Arnie films I still don't have and might pick it up if the dvd isn't too bad.

I've got it. It's not bad at all. Hold on. I'll stick it in and give it a spin to refresh my memory.
OK...it's actually pretty good for an older tranfer. No digital compression grain. Clean transfer. A few specks of dirt every now and then, but it's by no means any distraction.
Specs are anamorphic widescreen at 2.35:1 and fullscreen on a double-sided disc. 5.1 audio. Disc is one of those auto play discs...(movie starts without going to a menu first.)

I just watched that DVD for the third time a few weeks ago from my collection, and the quality of the video, and 5.1 audio is above average, and a very good movie as well. Overall, you will not be disappointed in the least. do not hesitate to purchase this DVD to add to your collection.
