Yeah, I hear ya but you can't let a little thing like money come between you and some cool anime

I'll find 'em at good used DVD places (including the Exchange Forum). Also you can check out the Anime Bargains thread in the Bargains Forum. They keep it updated constantly because sometimes the sales go quick.

I have 420 volumes on DVD, if I counted right (I count box sets as how many discs are included.)

I also have about 150 on Laserdisc, although some of those have been replaced with DVDs.

That's the common explanation, but I don't buy into it. What other "medium" has such a large proportion of material containing scantily clad adolescent school girls?

I find it disturbing that grown men watch cartoons depicting adolescent girls. I know that I'm the only one who sees it that way, so anime fans feel free to simply chalk this up as someone who "doesn't get it".

Thanks. There's one that I liked called Judge (Saw it several years ago on IFC) that DDD has for 5.99! Still haven't got around to purchasing it yet though.

But what I'm really interested in is the Hellsing series. Starz-Action has been airing this nearly every friday and I've become hooked!

About 500.

"You're an obsessive anime fan if ..."
... You continue to collect series you don't like, just "to have the collection."
... You wince when people call them "kid's cartoons."
... You buy the $20 marked up special edition DVD for the limited edition(!) action figure with the glossy(!) art box that holds the complete(!) collection.
... You've named your pet Pen-Pen, Lum, or Inuyasha.
... You can correctly identify the Zentraedi, an AT Field, and the Experts of Justice.

I never once considered myself an obsessive fan...until now.

I hang my head in shame, but know that I will never change....

Animatrix (can this one be counted?)
Battle of the Planets vols 1-6
Blue Submarine #6
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (again..can this be counted?)
Gatchaman OVA collection
Ninja scroll (movie)
Robotech Remastered Vols 1-6 and 11-14 (Never cared for the Robotech Masters)
Super Atragon

On VHS:
