Those of who you have problems with the New Line (US Region 1), maybe trying the MGM (Canadian Region 1) release instead would help. Exact same disk content.

The playback problem at 16:00. I may have had the compression artifacts as well, but that was a few days ago and I no longer remember.

I hate to resurrect this thread 7 months later, but the copy I bought from DDD during the recent 20% sale exhibited the same behavior. Has anyone heard of a recall or fix?

I had the same problem with my Primer DVD but it stopped doing it, not sure why..

So if I wait long enough, it'll fix itself? Wouldn't it be easier to make a time machine and go back to when the DVD was being mastered to prevent the problem in the first place?
