6.9/10 user rating on IMBD. Now watch the movie and tell us what you think.

I plan on opening a thread for every DVD I buy to find out whether I should like it before I watch it. Watch for approximately 100 individual threads as soon as my shipments roll in. I buy movies I know nothing about and ask for opinions rather than form my own.

I wonder if we will ever hear from TGG again now that he has his copy of Cold Fish.

That's a great idea! I wish I'd thought about that myself, especially since independent thinking makes my head hurt.

(Spot the logical inconsistency in the above paragraph)

On the other hand, any future purchases can just go in this thread given the completely generic thread title.

Has anybody seen SALO and know if it's any good? I just bought it off Ebay for $500 and am wondering if I'll like it.

It's fantastic. (at least that is what I have heard) I plan on picking it up and not watching it myself.

Is it ok to ask about a DVD that came out two years ago, but that I just bought? I mean, it is new to me, and I didn't buy it used. We need to clarify the purpose of this thread if we expect it to be of value to our fellow members.
