From Bloody-Disgusting:
While at Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors in Burbank California, I spent most of the morning looking for Richard Attenborough's classic 1978 horror film Magic on VHS. Well to my surprise Sky Films, who released the amazing The Manson Family on DVD, revealed to B-D that they will be releasing the astoundingly creepy Magic on DVD in 2006! More details soon.

Great news!

I look forward to seeing this again. Oh and...
I remember being at my friend's house and when it came on the TV, he started yelling and crying and convulsing like something was about to end his little life...and that was before the dummy even showed his face. I guess he had been previously traumatized.
I guess so

Yep - this one got me too, worse than any other movie in memory actually. I was too young to realize what was happening and my little imagination was running wild. I was traumatized, dammit! I rented the film again as a teenager to show to some friends one halloween and it wasn't NEARLY as horrific as I had remembered (I even had to endure some 'This is the scariest movie you've ever seen?!' jokes). Still a good movie though...

I've never seen this movie, but just wanted to add my name to the list of those creeped out by the trailer as a kid. I remember seeing it before Jaws 2 in 1978.

Some asshead at Best Buy tried to tell me this got pushed back until May 16th. I had to go to a local vendor (Waterloo) to buy one of the three copies they had there for $15.99. Anyone else having trouble finding it?

I saw it today at Tower Records.

I had trouble. I don't have any Tower or other store like that, just the usual BB, CC, Target, and Walmart. Not one of these had it in stock, so I guess I'll have to wait for the next DDD sale or something. I was really looking forward to this too.

I didn't see it for rental at either Hollywood or Blockbuster today. I'll most likely just buy it eventually.
