SONY got wind of these restored, OAR 16:9 discs - and quickly dropped them from the US schedule to do a no-holds-barred, every nook-and-cranny Nationwide search for the crudiest, cut, pan and scan version they coud find.

I swear I've saw these in stores when I lived in OR. Since I have Panic on my shelf, I'm wondering what retailer I bought it from.

I got mine from Amazon.ca, but I remember seeing it available at DDD.

Probably Best Buy -- they had a ton of them before they received a "do not sell" notification from MGM. I still see them from time to time, although apparently their system will not allow you to actually purchase it when you take it to the counter.
