I checked different prices through dvdpricesearch.com, and all the sites (I checked anyway, and there were a few) list the MSRP on this bad boy as 129.00. On average, they are charging about 95.00 or so for this, some higher, some lower. Personally, I think it's BS and just one more reason not to buy it. Paramount clearly announced a slightly lower MSRP for this than the other Trek sets, so there was hope we would see a lower price for this in preorders, but it's not happening folks.

Amazon MSRP on Voyager S7: $129.99

Amazon MSRP on Enterprise S1: $129.98

Ok, I guess I was wrong: it's a penny cheaper.

As I've noted before, the bureaucratic mentality is not the only constant in the Universe. Paramount's arrogance with regard to Trek will likely last until the 24th century and beyond.

This is a mediocre series, at best, and does not demand a premium price.

Perhaps Paramount will repackage them in card board cases and reprice the series after it has been released? Of course, there is no precedent for that. In fact, I have seen the online prices for the previous sets INCREASE after the series are completed.
Yep, that's why I bought the entire VOY series through Ebay. I knew from what was happening on the on-line sites that the prices would only increase over time. I lucked out on the last 3 seasons of VOY by finding a guy that was selling all 3 in one package, due to that "buy the last three seasons and get a discount" thingy. I got'em for about $75/each that way.

Actually I can see ENT going for $69.99 per season in pre-order prices. EDIT: Well, strike that bullshit. Just checked Amazon and they're showing $90.99 or $91. Geez, what's up with these Paramount sets?

Is anyone else getting *really* tired with the Digital Bits' constant updates regarding Enterprise and the urge to get it renewed? Enough already...
