Some cool titles,but I was so hoping too see The Devils listed when I saw the 'Controversial Classics' title.

Maybe that will be on it's way though?

Fantastic set! Warner Bros. is producing what are easily the best DVDs of any studio lately -- even giving Criterion some competition in that regard. I'm particularly happy about "Bad Day at Black Rock" -- been waiting for that one for a while.

Damn sweeet!!!!!!! Four of my must-have most-wanteds on one day. My unreleased wish list continues to shrink!

Fugitive is especially surprising to see this soon, since it lost out in the last Warner DVD poll. Too bad we couldn't get Greed in this batch too.

A Face in the Crowd was the only film the brief article went into any depth with - it just mentioned that Andy Griffith, Patricia Neal and screenwriter Budd Schulberg took part in the documentary to be on the disk.

Another Lang film (Fury) to check off the list - excellent news!

I always associate the two words: Warner's and controversy: with Ken Russell's The Devils... (sigh)... oh well.

Would have loved to see The Devils and Performance in there but otherwise this is a fantastic set!

Fantastic; second month of 2005 and Warners are already studio of the year (again...)

Another WB box for the shelf next May...but the cream of this crop is The Americanization of Emily, featuring top-notch performances by James Garner, Julie Andrews and Melvin Douglas, and an absolutely brilliant script by Paddy Chayefsky!

If any film belongs in that collection it's Elia Kazan's BABY DOLL. Hopefully it'll get a release later in the year then. Great to see they have Kazan's A FACE IN THE CROWD. Fantastic movie with one incredible performance by Andy Griffith.

More Lang is more good!

I'm getting the whole box - The Noir box, the Scorsese box, the Gangsters box, the Comedies box... WB is on a fucking roll with these. And at great prices too!

Awesome news. Good to see I am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang getting a release after getting stiffed out of the TCM voting last year.

heh, I thought I would be buying no more DVDs, but it seems that every month there are classics coming out.
In March, the fox film noir line will be released, in April, the Errol Flynn signature collection and in May, this set. Guess I'm going to be buying a lot
