Anyone getting the 2-disc silverado set?

street date of april 5th. looks like they have changed the cover art and added the following to the two-disc set: new featurette including an exclusive interview with Kevin Costner - new commentary - "making of" documentary - best western shootouts hosted by John Cleese - superbit prensentation - 16-page movie scrapbook and vintage playing cards in collectible western saloon box - and more... has a SRP of $19.94

or will you just hang on to your current one?

I'm definitely getting this cause it'll be a personal birthday present to myself...
Sounds excellent for the price they're asking it for. I couldn't be happier.
Does it come in an amaray case inside of it or is it a digipak?

I've got the original release, but because this one is a Superbit release, I may have to upgrade, especially at this low price.

Maybe the've fixed the one problem I have with that film. At 49:12 there is a disolve between scenes. Before the first scene completely fades, it cuts off. It's the little things that bother me the most.

I'm a big westren movie fan, but I've never seen this movie yet. So I don't have the origional release but I will be picking up the SE when it comes out.

If it's a superbit release it would be a steal at that price.

I just may upgrade to the 2-disc release. I love the movie and it'd be nice to have a better versions with a few fun features (I would have preferred more . . . specifically more involvement from the rest of the cast).

If you are a western fan, this movie belongs in your collection. It is an awesome movie (even with Jeff Fahey) with good characters and belongs in the upper echelon of rewatchable, great westerns.

I wonder if they will keep the featurette from the original disc (approximately 35 minutes long) - I hate when they drop features on re-issue/upgrades. Here is what is listed for the new set:

DVD FEATURES

• Widescreen Presentation
• Languages: English (5.1 / DTS), French
• Subtitles: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Thai
• Exclusive New Featurette: A Return to Silverado with Kevin Costner
• Along the Silverado Trail: A Western Historians Commentary
• Superbit Presentation
• Top Western Shootouts Featurette
• Talent Files
• Bonus Previews
• Exclusive Scrapbooklet
• Collectible Silverado Playing Cards
• 2-Disc Set!

Love this movie, so I'll be double dipping for sure.
At this price, with these features and the cards to boot it's a no brainer for me.

I put off getting it when originally released due to the misframing issue and never got around to buying it. I will be getting this one the day it's released, haven't seen it in a while.

Well, since I got the original release for about $10, this new Superbit release is a no-brainer.

Welcome to the forum, however, you should probably read up on the rules around here. Your post is considered a "threadcrap" (the forum equivalent of "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all") and is not allowed.
