It's a big deal with the trailer is a finely crafted piece of promotion that just kicks all kinds of ass. Done right, trailers can be as artistic as the movies themselves. I could watch a loop of the trailers for Casino, Wyatt Earp, Philadelphia and Carlito's Way all day long.

Just received my Canadian Pressing of Casino from dvdsoon.com and its a dual sided disc just like the US pressing. I am really disappointed. I emailed them to ask ahead of time and they said that it was indeed a 2 disc dvd. I know not to take their word anymore. What Scumbags!

Hmmm... I can only find one UPC code for the widescreen version. It's the same on every (US or Canadian) site I find, including cinemaclock.com, which specifically states that it is a 2 disc set. So, is there any confirmation that a 2 disc version actually exists, or is this just a misinterpretation of the pre-release information?

Purchased Casino SE from a retailer (Futureshop) yesterday and it'sa DVD18 as well. Unless it's only the full screen copies that have the 2 disks?? Didn't think to check those at the time.

Mine is a widescreen Canadian pressing and its a dual layered/dual sided disc. Every Canadian website that I went to prior to purchasing the dvd, stated that it was a 2 disc dvd. I don't understand what happened. Is there a possibility that Universal put pressure on Alliance to release it the same way as it was being released in the US (dual layered, dual sided), because they were afraid a lot of people ordering Canadian versions if it were a 2 disc. A lot of people I know bought the Canadian version of Orgazmo (which ironically is also an Alliance/Universal release in Canada) because of the fact that it is a 2 disc. I am very disappointed. I don't think any 2 disc version exists, but if anyone does find a 2 disc set, please let me know. I think its pretty messed up that they release widespread info that a dvd is one way and then it turns out to be something completely different. It really is false advertising.

My Canadian edition arrived in the mail today. Also dual sided.

I was in and out of the room when that trailer was playing.
It looked like a normal trailer for a DVD. They showed regular scenes from the movie and introduced the characters. The only way I knew it was a special edition was the title card at the end. They didn't list a single extra.

I guess Universal owns the rights to it now?

I got this from Netflix today. It's the widescreen version, and it says DISC 1 on it. On the special features menu, it says to flip the disc.

Is it a DVD-18 or DVD-14?

Definitely a DVD-18. Also noticed that the disk is 'Made In Mexico', although the case is Canadian (bilingual).

I bought this disc yesterday, it froze up at 1:47 in and stayed that way. I returned it, got a new one, now this one freezes up at about 1:53 in and won't let up.
