Rocky 1 & 2 to be sold separately? What to do ?

I read the thread regarding the recent Rocky Anthology release from December, with complaints about the missing bonus disc, transfer issues and lack of supplemental materials. Seeing that I sold my Rocky 1 SE and Rocky 2 last year in anticipation of the supposedly new, improved releases, what is the best course of action? At least Rocky 2 is now in anamorphic widescreen. I'm thinking I may rebuy Rocky 1 SE and wait for this improved Rocky 2 to be released. Am I right on this? I welcome your input since it was my understanding that the individual Rocky releases were supposed to be available in February. I may consider Rocky 3 as well, but I'm not a fan of Rocky 4 and 5.

At the cost of getting the first three individually, you might as well spring for the anthology set.

all 5 are being released on feb 8th...if your going to buy the origianl SE get it quick, most stores will pull them in the weeks to come...it may be a better deal to buy the box and ebay 3-5...you can search around and get a box with the bonus disc

It was my understanding that some people prefer the previous SE release to the new release simply for the extras, so I guess if you want to be a completist, you would keep your SE of Rocky 1 as well. I'm curious when other online vendors besides Amazon (like DDD) will be selling these. Thanks for the link Cameron!

Get the SE for the extras, get the new one for the transfer.
