I doubt Lion's Gate will even reissue an unrated version. When is the last time they did that? Not since they were releasing through other distributers.

If I decide to buy this film...I'll go with an import or wait. just a few seconds can make a difference or at least enhance it a little. anything is better than investing in a cut-up film(taking what they give you)....8 seconds or not.

well, i am not sure what this means...but i can confirm the running time from start to finish is 1:43:06. so i think the 102 minute theory is shot to hell.

the 8 seconds, if thats even what the difference is, is definitely enough for me to go with the uncut version. its much longer than some seem to think, especially if its gore. 2 seconds added onto 4 scenes, 4 seconds added onto 2 scenes, that is something. 2 seconds is enough to erase the head exploding in scanners, 3 seconds takes out the head being blown off and landing in wild at heart, 8 seconds of blood removed from any argento film is pretty significant. 4 seconds of a saw sawing thru a leg is a lot.

im going with uncut.

if only the UK version had the US packaging . I think I am going to go for the cut version right now, and if I like the movie (blind buy) might have to get the uncut version once some reviews of it are out.

I'll go ahead and get the US release for now. I really enjoyed the movie in the theatre, and I'm sure the 6.1 track will be great. I wish we would get the uncut version here, but I'm not gonna belly up the extra 10-15 bucks to order the R2. 10 dollars for 8 seconds is a little much.

And those 8 seconds might not even be worth it (ie, American Psycho: Uncut).

I remember waiting for the laserdisc to be released, I was so excited after seeing the ad in a Image catalog. I believe it was twenty seconds that didn't need to be added back. I haven't viewed Saw, but I wouldn't mind having the option to watch an un rated version.

The guy who said it was more graphic regarding the foot scene is lying.
I've seen it uncut and the IMDB info is correct
