This movie absolutely ages well. Great humor is great humor, this is a timeless classic. I'll definitely be double dipping on this one.

For all of those posting on a possible sequel/prequel to Spaceballs, there is going to be a new animated series:

good stuff...wish they would do a sequel to parody the new trilogy. Sounds like fun

I felt the same way. That's why I did this one....

I've only seen parts of this movie, but what I saw, I liked. It looked pretty funny. So, I'll more than likely buy this when it comes out.

They probably figured that would be a spoiler for those who haven't see it yet.

hmmm...looks like Spaceballs is eligable for the settlement:

http://www.mgmdvdsettlement.com/eligible.pdf

$7 is more than I could ever get for the the 1 disc version.

So perhaps I should get rid of it now.

In Hollywood Life magazine a few months ago, they interviewed Mel Brooks about The Producers remake, and when they asked him what other projects he was working on currently, he said he was writing a script for Spaceballs II. They asked him when it was going to be made and he wished he could release it before Star Wars Episode III (I think we can rule that out), but mostly likely in the next two or three years. I hope it works out.

All I see is a 5-page list of movie titles.

Here is the settlement:

Very good news indeed. Plus, I never bought the original so I don't have to double dip. YAY!

That would be like making fun of the mentally challenged, or kicking a crippled kid.

Nice! Can you please post a link to a larger version? I'd love to print and use this for my DVD, instead of the lackluster "official" cover....
