You're going to have to be a bit more specific.

It was one of the original posters...but I'm also not fond of it. I'm hoping for the "big bat snow" poster, if they're going by those.

i doubt the actual box sets will look like the mockups on DVDAficianado. Those are just teaser posters (kind alike the new Harry potter one in theatres now) and dont represent the movies at all.

I like the Batman Returns mock up... It's a bat... It's a cat... It's Batman... It's Catwoman! Simple to the point.

Uhm.
Guy's, those are just promo posters......

(1) The 'Batman Returns' one is the infamous early promo poster.

(4) The 'Batman and Robin' one even has a date on the bottom that says "June".

Not artwork or even mock ups.

The 8-disc Batman Special Edition Giftset is available for pre-order at Columbia House. The release date is October 25th. They also have Batman Forever 2-disc Special Edition available on the same day. I'd expect the other three individual titles to be added shortly.

Wonder if they'll throw in anything special to get people to buy the boxed set and suffer with Batman & Robin.

People bought the Alien Quadrilogy without any extra incentives.

The Quadrilogy had the ninth disc of extra features...but the packaging was pretty cumbersome, wasn't it?

Yeah, needs somthing extra in the box set to get me to buy it, a nice extra disk or something, maybe a major discount

The Quadrilogy was available as a complete set, IIRC, before each movie was available separately. That clearly won't be the draw here.

I'm not a huge fan of Batman and Robin, but I'll buy the box cause I'm an obsessive completist.

I can't wait for these to be officially announced, complete with specs and cover art. These are my most anticipated releases of the year.

Thanks for the date. I sure hope all of them will be available individually b/c I sure as hell don't want anything to do with Clooney being Batman in my collection. I may spring for Forever, but I'm still on the fence with that one. Thanks again, and I hope some more news will be forthcoming.

I'm getting the box set. That and the Wizard of Oz 3-disc on the same day. I'm starting to get excited about DVDs again.

It seems somewhat odd that WB would choose to release this gigantic eight-disc Batman set on the same day as a 3-disc Wizard of Oz set and the same day as Paramount is releasing a 3 (or 4) disc Titanic set. Although I guess that's the studio's problem and not mine, the "original" date of October 4th made more sense. Not to mention that it looks like Batman Begins is also on the 25th, therefore making it a very expensive day, and perhaps limiting the number of casual buyers who will buy the Batman set.

But hey, I know I'm buying it all. Just seems odd.

yah, but the holiday season usually kicks in around that time. It will be on most new release shelves until the Xmas season is over It always starts getting a little nuts around that time of year. It is turning into a very expensive date for me though.

October 25
Batman Box Set
Concert for Bangledesh
Looney Tunes Golden collection 3
Looney Tunes Movie set
Titanic 3 disc
Wizard of OZ 3 disc

I don't think I've ever seen floating heads for the first Batman, actually.

It still seems odd that WB alone will be putting out four big, expensive, high profile titles on that same day, all targeted to vaguely similar audiences (Batman Box Set, Batman Begins, Looney Tunes, and Wizard of Oz). You'd think they'd space it out by a few weeks here and there...or something.
